    Tom Leighton (previously) is thought for highlighting crops’ photosynthesis course of by swapping their attribute greens for otherworldly fluorescent colours. Usually targeted on the nightlife of specimens discovered round his Cornwall residence, Leighton pictures in a way that turns widespread species into extraordinary topics.

    His latest collection, Spines, expands on this trajectory. The macro pictures consider the high quality fibers cloaking stems and flowers. Water droplets cling to the surfaces as if the crops had simply emerged from a heavy downpour. The glistening botanicals seize the encircling gentle, whereas the thick dew drops add a glimmering, skewed view of the lifeforms that reside beneath.
