Nationwide — HBCU Alum, a distinguished on-line platform devoted to highlighting Traditionally Black Faculties and Universities, is happy to announce the winners of the 2025 version of its #HBCUBound Scholarships. These merit-based monetary grants, designed to help bills reminiscent of books, tuition, and school-related charges, had been accessible to graduating highschool seniors who plan to enroll at an HBCU within the upcoming fall of 2025.
With a file 700+ candidates, spanning 29 states and so many deserving candidates, 5 extremely certified and well-deserving younger students have been chosen as recipients:
Marcus Bryant from Capitol Heights, Maryland. Sustaining a 3.9 GPA, he was captain of Cross Nation and Monitor & Area groups, served as crew lead in ACE Mentors Program and IEEE Robotics crew, and a member of Athletic Management Council, and NBSE, Jr. Received MPSSAA Scholar Athlete Award, a T&F County Champion, and earned Principal’s Honor Roll annually in class. Headed to North Carolina A&T State College to review Mechanical Engineering.
Camara Christian from Menifee, California. She is a five-sport athlete and dual-enrollee at Moreno Valley Faculty, incomes 4 affiliate’s levels in Could 2025. Camara is a member of the Valedictory Circle, received the Nationwide Arithmetic Award, is a two-time South Valley League Monitor & Area Sprinter MVP, and made the Principal’s Honor Roll annually. The 4.0 GPA scholar is headed to Tuskegee College to main in Political Science/Pre-Legislation.
Alfred “Isaiah” McGuire from Pooler, Georgia. A multiple-time Area 3A GHSA Monitor & Area Champion, two-time Cross Nation Runner of the 12 months, Woodville Tompkins Athlete of the 12 months, and serves as 1st Vice President of Prime Teenagers of America (Savannah Chapter). Volunteers with First Africa Baptist Church Media Ministry, a member of the Beta Membership, and Woodville Worldwide College students of Excellence. Ranked within the Prime 5% of his class, sustaining a 3.9 GPA, he’s headed to Hampton College to main in Journalism/Mass Communications.
Adria Stacker from Jamaica, New York. The St. Francis Prep Senior Class President and a Borough President of Queens Quotation of Honor recipient is member of Nationwide Society of Excessive Faculty Students, DST Teen Raise Program, Alvernian Drama Society, Presidents Record for 95-100 Grade Common, Dance Crew, Worldwide United Miss NY Jr. Teen, East Coast NY Jr. Miss and a multi-sport athlete. An avid volunteer, she is headed to Florida A&M College to main in Forensic Science & Felony Justice.
Jhaylin Taylor from Phenix Metropolis, Alabama. The Future Enterprise Leaders of America President, carrying a 4.1 GPA, Chick-fil-A Management Academy ambassador, Nationwide Honor Society, Scholar Council, and Thespian Society member, has received quite a few awards. She has received a Central Excessive Tutorial Excellence Award, 1st Place for FBLA Enterprise Plan, Tuskegee iTest Program, and Nationwide Heart for Girls & Data Expertise Aspirations in Computing Award. Headed to Alabama A&M College to main in Pc Science.
