We DID earn the cash we would have liked by working at an exquisite job (each my son and I are employed on the similar native restaurant), we DID attend two waterfront concert events, we DID attend two nighttime
motion pictures within the park, we DID attend the outside movie competition, we DID have lake days with associates, we DID go on two waterfall hikes, together with visiting Moxie Falls, we DID go on just a few different hikes
with associates and on our personal, we DID go on bike rides, we DID attend Sullivan Daze, we DID attend the Moxie Pageant, we DID attend the Blue Hill Honest, we DID go on numerous walks exploring
downtown Ellsworth, we DID make important progress unpacking and organizing in our new residence, we DID log fairly just a few college days whereas on “summer season break”, we DID get pleasure from some full on film days
whereas we have been down with illness, I DID spend some lovely therapeutic mornings working in our flower gardens and yard, we DID plant and begin to develop meals in our sunroom, we DID have
significant moments collectively as a household, connecting, laughing, having fun with one another and our environment. THIS. THIS is what counts. THIS is what my kids will keep in mind. And THIS is what I can
select to recollect.
The previous is the previous. It is stuffed with each good days and dangerous days, good moments and dangerous moments. We create our future by selecting what we are going to deal with. Will we meditate on the dangerous, and wallow in
remorse? Or will we select to deal with the nice, and thrive in gratitude?
“Lastly, brothers and sisters, no matter is true, no matter is noble, no matter is correct, no matter is pure, no matter is beautiful, no matter is admirable—if something is great or praiseworthy—suppose
about such issues.” The Apostle Paul, Philippians 4:8.
I select to recollect, to speak about, and to CELEBRATE all of the goodness we’ve got skilled this summer season. I can be taught from what appears like remorse, I can let it inform and form my future selections,
and I can relish in all of the goodness that surrounds me, within the LOVE of my Heavenly Father and my household. At the moment, I select gratitude.
