Public Gallery is happy to current HangTime, a solo exhibition of recent works by Taylor Simmons, and the artist’s second presentation with the gallery. Throughout two flooring of the gallery’s new expanded area, Simmons’ tightly framed and closely layered compositions shift from referencing sourced imagery, typically discovered pictures and viral video clips, to a sequence of familial portraits, conveying the artist’s private specificity and home area.
