We love a great customized automotive design right here at Juxtapoz, and this one caught our eye this previous week. DART Car, the Pushed Artists Racing Workforce, debuted their workforce and unveiled the look of their race automotive designed by Summer 2024 cover artist, Mickalene Thomas, the inaugural fee being a customized wrap for the McLaren Artura GT4 racecar as properly bespoke driving fits and painted by hand helmets. DART Automotive’s first race of the 2024 season is the SRO GT4 America at Sonoma Raceway from March 28-30, 2025.
“This collaboration with DART Automotive embodies the right union of artwork and feminism as a potent fusion of creativity, pace, and feminine empowerment, difficult stereotypes by inspiring innovation and redefining the boundaries of energy and wonder of girls within the driver seat,” Thomas stated in an announcement.
Based by entrepreneur Zoë Barry, artwork advisor Spring McManus, and award-winning skilled racecar driver Aurora Straus, DART Automotive is a brand new female-led initiative with the aim of elevating the achievements of girls within the historically male-dominated fields of motorcars and fantastic artwork.
