    Black Woman From Detroit Sues Police, Wrongfully Arrested Due to Facial Recognition Error

    Nationwide — LaDonna Crutchfeld, a 37-year-old African American lady from Detroit, Michigan, is suing the Detroit Police Division after being wrongfully arrested in January 2024 as a consequence of defective facial recognition. She claims the expertise led to her detention over a mistaken id.
