Fat Joe is mourning the dearth of the woman he generally known as his world — his mom, Marie Del-Carmen Cartagena, has died.
The rapper posted a tribute on social media on Saturday with a heartfelt message and a sequence of images honoring her life.

He wrote … “This an precise one, rest in peace to the woman who launched me on this world. She didn’t have so much nevertheless she gave us each half.”
Joe mirrored on his mom’s energy and devotion to her family and group. He says she chosen to remain dwelling throughout the initiatives for years, no matter his financial success, attributable to her deep love for her neighbors.
