We’re excited to share what our buddies at AXA XL have simply introduced: the eighth version of the AXA Art Prize in the USA. This prestigious competitors, juried by distinguished artists and artwork curators, welcomes figurative work, drawings, and prints from undergraduate and graduate artwork college students throughout the US. The deadline for submissions is March 25, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST.

Since its inception in 2018, the AXA Artwork Prize US has served as a launchpad for promising artists, offering a platform for his or her work to be evaluated by influential curators, critics, and collectors within the nation.
Commenting, Lucy Pilko, CEO AXA XL Americas, stated: “As an insurer, we perceive the significance of defending creative legacies and fostering creativity. We’re proud to help the subsequent technology of artists by providing them an unparalleled alternative to showcase their expertise and achieve recognition.”
The competitors is split into three rounds. Preliminary submissions might be assessed by Regional Juries, composed of members from the AXA Artwork Prize Strategic Advisory Board and 30 main studio artwork applications, together with Rhode Island Faculty of Design, California School of the Arts, and the Faculty of the Artwork Institute of Chicago. An Exhibition Jury, comprising curators from the nation’s prime museums, will then shortlist 40 artists.
The 40 finalists might be featured within the AXA Artwork Prize US Exhibition, set to open in New York in November 2025. The First Prize and Second Prize winners might be chosen by a panel of famend modern artists and can obtain awards of $10,000 and $5,000 respectively.
